An independent, non-profit charity giving hope to the poor, disadvantaged and neglected in Sabah.

Osimal Foundation was founded by Richard Malanjum, the 9th Chief Justice of Malaysia. Having personally broken the barriers of poverty through education, he spearheaded the foundation together with like-minded friends to help deserving members of the community.
Although it began with education, the foundation’s mission has grown to cover housing, health, single mothers and other related needs.
In 2019 Osimal Foundation was incorporated under the Trustees (Incorporation) Ordinance (Cap 148). It is a non-profit body, funded mainly by donations from its own Trustees and Friends of Osimal Foundation, and in 2021 it was granted full tax exemption by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.
We give hope to the poor, disadvantaged and neglected members of society, and assist in poverty eradication, through six kinds of action.
Providing shelter and proper housing for families in need.
Better and higher education for poor students through bursaries and other means.
Helping poor families, especially youths, become self-sustaining through skills and agricultural training.
Medical aid and other forms of assistance for the sick.
Relief and rebuilding for those affected by natural disasters.
Raising and sourcing the funds that make all of the above possible.
Osimal Foundation is approved by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) under subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967.
Every ringgit goes to families, students and communities across Sabah. Your gift is tax-deductible, and we welcome donors of every size.
