Our story
Born from one man’s escape from poverty — through education.
Osimal Foundation was founded by Richard Malanjum, the 9th Chief Justice of Malaysia, who broke the barriers of poverty through his own education. Together with like-minded friends, he set out to give deserving members of the community the same chance.
What began with education now reaches into housing, health, single mothers and disaster relief. We are independent, non-profit, and funded by our Trustees and Friends of Osimal.

Hands-on training in modern farming so young people can build a self-sustaining livelihood.

After the September 2021 mud flood in Kg Sugud, Penampang, we helped rebuild homes and basic facilities.
