About Osimal
Background
Osimal Foundation is founded by Richard Malanjum, the 9th Chief Justice of Malaysia. Having personally experienced breaking barriers of poverty through education, Malanjum spearheaded the initiative to establish Osimal Foundation together with like-minded friends to help deserving members of the community. Although initially focused on education, the Foundation’s mission has now expanded to encompass health, single mothers and other related issues.
In 2019, Osimal Foundation was incorporated under the Trustees (Incorporation) Ordinance (Cap 148). It is a non-profit making body and it is mainly funded by donations from its own Trustees and Friends of Osimal Foundation. In 2021, Osimal Foundation was granted full tax exemption by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRB).

Our Mission
1. To give hope to the poor, disadvantaged & neglected members of society through the following
action:
- by providing shelter & proper housing
- by providing access to better & higher education to poor students through bursaries & other means
- by assisting poor families especially youths to attain self-sustenance through skills, agricultural & other forms of training
- by providing medical aid & other forms of assistance to the sick
- by assisting those affected by naturals disasters through relief & other efforts
- to raise & source for funds to finance the above endeavours
2. Generally to assist in poverty eradication through the above action
